Energy From Waste. Genwat Services Limited.

Waste-to-energy (WtE) or energy from waste (EfW) is the process of creating energy in the form of electricity or heat from the incineration of waste source. WtE is a form of energy recovery. Most WtE processes produce electricity directly through combustion, or produce a combustible fuel commodity, such as methane, methanol, ethanol or synthetic fuels.

Genwat seeks to employ the simlar but more advanced process of gasification where waste is heated to a high temperature and the gas that is driven off in the process is then burnt as this represents a "clean fuel". By subsequently cleaning the emissions, Genwat's process is environmentally friendly and the only residue is ash, which is safe to pass to landfill.
