Initial Public Offering 10th December 2009
Genwat announces its intention to undertake a flotation and list on AIM in early 2010
The Directors of Genwat plc today announce their intention to float and undertake an Initial Public Offering in Q1 or Q2 of 2010 subject to market conditions.
Following a number of successful presentations to some of the City’s leading Institutional Investors wherein an update of Genwat’s progress was given, Mark Mills, Chairman, commented “There is clearly strong demand from Institutional Investors who are ‘top of the tree’ when it comes to investment decisions in both UK and International businesses and as such, provided the market conditions are appropriate, Genwat intends to undertake an Initial Public Offering (“IPO”) with a view to raising £30m of new capital in early 2010”
Genwat is working with its advisors and intends to list on AIM giving its investors the opportunity to further benefit from the growth story as the first of a number of Energy from Waste plants are built and brought into service.
